Well...it was on the road this morning for the first time since July 2006! It's always different when you leave the gym and machines. For my first I didn't do too bad. I ran 2 miles in 19:44 which gave me a 9:52 avg (10:09, 9:36). It's going to be awhile for sure, this 240lb body is a little harder to pull along than a 215 or 220 one, so until I get the weight down to that level it'll be a fun adventure for sure.

Great job Jediweed! Bet the road was glad to see you again. Wow, that's a lot of info.

When I started running in late Feb 07, I was pushing it to get more than one mile. My first 4-mile run was 10:15 pace. For you, I'm guessing that your speed will come back even quicker since you were there not too long ago. I'm not at a level to offer expert advice, but I've found that just putting in the mileage does wonders...the speed will come. From what I've seen here, people are willing to share their knowledge and experience to help us Clydes out a bit. Keep running man!
