I decided to try running for the first time since my back injury last week, but didn't want to risk reinjury by starting too hard and fast. Quick 4-mile loop around Holladay with a stop at The Store to buy some bread to make lunches for the kids. It's surprisingly hard to run uphill with a loaf in each arm.
Injury report: I didn't notice any back pain during my run but did get a couple of very brief twinges of some kind of nerve activity. I'll pay close attention throughout the day before deciding what to do about tomorrow's intervals. I did planks and some other back exercises following my run.
