AM: 9.4 miles on the treadmill, averaged 7:29. HR 144.

35' Continuous Subthreshold

Solid early morning session. 25' warmup progressive and then straight into it. I started at 8.6 MPH, so only slightly faster than two weeks ago, but longer overall, faster, and at a lower HR. I did .1 MPH increases every 5' for the first 20' then did 9.0-9.3 MPH from 20'-30' and did the last 5' or so from 9.4-9.6 MPH. HR only briefly touched 167. Avg HR for the threshold section was 157.

+30' sauna. HR 85.

Kinda weird doing a sauna session during the hottest week of the year (lower 90s predicted today), but I wanted to stay topped off.

PM: 4.1 miles, averaged 9:51. HR 124.

Hot out. Wasn't bad until I got back out onto the main road and was in the sun and my HR started to drift upward.

AM: 4 hours 2'. 68.6 miles @ 17.0 MPH. 197W. HR 131.

Mostly steady pedal pressure endurance, then a few threshold efforts late in the ride. 5-8' kind of unstructured and just where I could safely do them. 280-290 watts. Felt very good on this ride. The weather has been amazing the last few days. Going to be very hot next week.

Solid stacking of 3 longer bike days in a row.
