Not much to speak of yet.

My fastest Marathon was 3:38 (St. George); 3:36:00 (St. George 2012)

My fastest Half was 1:55 (Farmington Festival Days)

Haven't competed in anything less than a half in a while 

Short-Term Running Goals:

5K: 21 min

10K: 40 min

Half: 1:40

Marathon: 3:05 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mile time down to 6 min for long distances (marathon pace)

run a 4 min mile

get fast and competitive on trails

get fast enough to be a local elite 

Personal:

married with kids.  I want my kids to see me accomplish the above goals so hopefully they too will want to be active and healthy.

The initial plan was to incorporate Flag Rock into this run, but that was only because I thought the distance was much shorter. As it turns out, not only is it long but it has some decent elevation gain as well. VH beat me up the hills - as he does every time - but my ego aside it was a good run.  Somehow I need to get faster up those hills though.

I had no idea it was that much. Add Flag Rock to that and we got 4,000. I guess you were trying to tell me that.

Yeah. It would be over 4,000' by a few hundred feet I think. Not sure I had it in me today but we should give it a go soon.

Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll get faster for sure.

I was thinking of doing something like this tomorrow - Baer to Flag rock and back - something like that.

That will be a serious run. close to 4k feet probably and 10+ miles. I'm not sure I'm going to get a run tomorrow now that I have injured my leg again.
