Went up to Suncrest for a workout today with Jason from work. We warmed up with 2 miles and then did 8 x 0.25 miles with equal jog between reps (1:26-1:27-1:36-1:20-1:51-1:24-1:44-1:33). It was really tough to be consistent because the route was pretty hilly. Then I cooled down for 1 mile.

Nice workout! Fast repeats on the hilly terrain is a great strength builder.

Next couple weeks might be a good time to introduce workouts in the half marathon-marathon pace range since you've recently done several workouts in the 5K-10K range (be well-rounded in the base training phase). For example, tempo run 3-4 miles at marathon pace (7:00+-) and 3-4xMile at HMP (6:45+-).
