For some odd reason my alarm clock did not go off today and it was set, i know it was. So my body woke me up like 6:30 and it was to late to run so just slept in for the last time in a while. It felt good and my body needed it after a good week last week and hard Saturday. Going after work today, i think its speedwork.

After work today went over to the high school and did some speed work. Started with a 1 mile warm up then did 14 continuous 200's it was a good work out until i got to about 11 and the Bajio i ate earlier started to rest in my stomach and give me a side ache and make me sick to my stomach. I finished though and ran them pretty good after i had to go dispose of all the Bajio though, you know number 2. I don't think i will eat that to much again. After that i did a 4 mile cool down to end a solid workout.

Woke up this morning ready for speed work, but got their and coach had the schedule mixed up and are meet is on Thursday. This mad me happy cause i got to do a long run. Ran a 6 mile run up by Lava Ridge at a easy race for recovery. Sprinted my last 200 meters going on to the track. Feeling okay, stomach is a little bad. Also did a 1 mile warm up on track. I felt tired so slept in and ran afterschool. Felt pretty sore and tight, so ran a 1 mile warm up then ran a 3 mile run on my course. It was good and loosened me up for tommorrows meet.

I went to the meet after school today and felt pretty good, but a little sore. I did a 1 mile warm up and loosened up. My first event was the 1 mile run and i ran a 4:40 (okay considering its not a peak week and a strong wind) i lost to Karl by 5 seconds. After that i did a 1 mile cool down and a little later another 1 mile loosening up run.

My second event was the 3200 and it was Karl then me again. He beat me by 3 seconds. In this race we decieded to help one another and draft off one another every other lap. It was really fun and helped releive nerves. We had a great race and ran pretty good considering. It was a great race and glad i have a friend like Karl. Did a 1 mile warm up and 2 mile cool down with Karl.  Our team won the race the first one in a while. We beat Hurricane by 20 and Dixie (our toughest region competition) by quite a bit. It was a great race and a great first meet on our track.

Oh yea Adam Timo is the man he jumped a 7 foot high jump and almost 7' 2 jump which would have been the state record, a 23 foot long jump isn't to bad either. Our team is looking good for state. (DS Trainer: 95.5)

Could not wake up to run this morning to tired. So went after school and did a 1 mile warm up. Then coach had speed work to build the leg endurance and two day meet affect. So i did a 1200-800-600-400 latter with 1 to 2 minute break inbetween. I felt okay actually considering everything. After that i did a 5 mile cool down with Camron. It was a good day.

Woke up this morning and met at the Dixie Center with the guys to do a run Clyde put together. We first ran a 5.68 mile loop at 7:17 pace to warm up. Then we ran a .26 mile run to the spot we would start the tempo run. We started are tempo run and i felt good. I stayed behind Clyde the first 1.5 miles then pushed ahead feeling relaxed and great. I kept the lead the rest of the run and worked on my composure. I stayed calm and ran well. It was a great 5.43 miles at about 5:26 to 5:28 pace with a good kick at the end. ( my garmin didn't stop at the end, so i am not quite sure, but it added 20 seconds till i stopped it). The group was me, Clyde, Ken, Steve, Dustin, and Bill. I did a 3.71 mile cool down at the end to end off a great 60 mile week. Here are my splits.(Straus: 63.08)

1 mile: 5:25.66 (up hill)

2 mile: 5:17.87 (fairly downhill)

3 mile: 5:31.65 (Flat)

4 mile: 5:34.63 (Flat)

5 mile: 5:25.29 (Flat)

.43 mile: 2:16.74 (Flat)
