Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

Completed California International Marathon in 2008 and 2009.  I have finished several olympic distance triathlons.  I was a pretty good swimmer in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I hope to take my fitness to a more serious level by dropping some weight ,running every day, and increasing mileage.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In five years (when I'm sixty years old) I might be able to qualify for the Boston Marathon and complete an Iron-distance triathlon.

Personal:

I am a photographer, married, and my best friend is my fox red lab, "Sutter".  

I live in Nevada City, California and teach high school English.

Went out to eat at 5 mile house had the thin crust pizza and some bread.  then went home and munched 8 of suzie's oatmeal cookies and drand two glasses of milk.

 We'll call it 4500 calories for the day.

 

This is the first day of rest for the month.  Back to teaching, which makes me VERY tired.

End Hunger 10K - for the most part, the same training course that I run regularly, except for the big hill up Spring Street.

 My time was 1:01.48.

A P.R.!

I would have broken an hour on a flat course.
