Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

Completed California International Marathon in 2008 and 2009.  I have finished several olympic distance triathlons.  I was a pretty good swimmer in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I hope to take my fitness to a more serious level by dropping some weight ,running every day, and increasing mileage.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In five years (when I'm sixty years old) I might be able to qualify for the Boston Marathon and complete an Iron-distance triathlon.

Personal:

I am a photographer, married, and my best friend is my fox red lab, "Sutter".  

I live in Nevada City, California and teach high school English.

Congratulations! How did you like the race? Pretty nasty to find a big hill in the last mile.

CIM was my best marathon, though not my PR. Best racing performance, consistent negative splits. I'm sure I will run it again someday. Good luck with the training!
