Today the Principal came and told us that the school is tearing down our wall. It was pretty much the most devastating news I could have heard. Now we will no longer have somewhere to play wallball on before practice. It was hard to run after hearing that but we went out for about seven.
10x400m today. I did every single one at either 70 or 71. It felt really good and they could have been a lot faster if it wasn't so windy on the backstretch.
We had a fartlek on the canal today. 7x5x3x2x1 hard, with 5x4x3x2 minute jog inbetween. We were hauling on all of them, and I stayed with the front five for all of them but the 1 minute one. Afterwwards Me, Cole Gray, and Walton ice bathed.
We were suppposed to go for a 35 min run, and we did. it's just that we only went 3 miles. We went on an athlete run throgh the river bed and the trees around there.

Today was the Wasatch invitational at Soldier Hollow. It was a pretty long drive up there so I got a pretty solid nap on the way up. We got there and started warming up once the junior senior JV boys started. We lined up and they only gave everyone spots two people wide. We got out and I just settled into the race with Walton and Cole Gray. We did pretty much all of our moving in the first mile. It was pretty rough because there was absolutely no flat it seemed. It was either up or down. We came through the first mile in 6:05, then headed up the switchbacks. On the second one I gapped Walton by a little and surged up to two kids from Salem Hills. I stayed with them all the way to the last half mile where it's all downhill, and they pulled away. I ran by myself to the finish and got seventeenth. I was disappointed I was so close to meddling but whatever. Our team got second and only lost to AF 28-42. And that was without our third runner Mike. By the time state comes I think we could be able to give them a run for their money.
