EZ pace in the heat.
I ran by the capitol to find a great band playing for about a dozen people under the shade of a big tree by the Vietnam war memorial. I stopped and listened on the way back. A random and unexpected treat.

MarcE, I'm shooting for quality over quantity this year. Who knows I may do the Slam again next year but I find it hard to find time for all those Saturday morning races. My wife works every other Saturday and finding a sitter at O dark thirty is a pain.
Kathie, My purple toe would have clashed with the pink and I didn't have time for a pedicure.
