A friend was running 36 miles for his 36th birthday. I joined him for about half of it.
About 4 hours. Very EZ pace on trail from the upper Aves to Red Butte.

How'd your friends run turn out? Is he going to keep making an annual tradition of it?

Awesome!!! I thought about running 40 on my next birthday, but I don't know. That's a long way. Maybe I'll do a 40k

He finished but said he ran out of fuel and was really dragging toward the end. It took him over 10 hours. He has previously finished quite a few ultras including the Wasatch 100.
Dale, When is your 40th B-day?
