8 miles at lunch on the JRP.  8:21 ave pace.  I felt good today.

Our building's main sewer line broke 2 days ago, hence no water and thus no showers.  Just be glad you don't work with me.  I've warned my coworkers to stay away, though they probably already know that.

Man you are running some heavy miles. What race are you getting ready for?

PEEEWWWW! GOOD JOB running at lunch, no heavy lunch this time?

Tim, I going to try a trail marathon with lots of elevation.

Smooth, no heavy lunch, thank goodness.

Hey Fly, we're neck and neck on the Mileage Board this week. How many you planning to do for the rest of this week? I'm at 47 for the week, and don't know if I should push it too much higher...though I definitely want to do a MP 13.1 miler on Saturday.

Sorry about the showers...mostly sorry for your co-workers.

At least you have showers at work. I think state employees get treated better than federal employees.

Marc, Aren't you tapering for Boston now? This is a peak week for me. I did 6 at lunch and have this planned: 4 after work today, 20 tomorrow morning (it is supposed to be snowing all day), 6 ez on Saturday morning (probably on or on and in the snow).

Don, I think we have showers because a lot of people in the building actually work in the field.

At least you get to work in the field...just kidding. Yeah, I didn't think about that.

Great running Fly... do you always do your long runs on Friday or are you adjusting for the weather?

From MarcE on Fri, Apr 03, 2009 at 18:09:54 from 129.188.33.25

Nice, Fly, you're getting in some serious miles lately. Yep, I'm tapering for Boston. I had such a short week last week, and my 31 miles on Sunday (should really count for last week). I'm taking it kind of easy this week. Just one more MP 1/2 marathon this weekend, and then it's time to build up the glycogen stores, and let the body rest a little more for Boston. I don't think I've ever run 60 miles in 7 days before, so, if I run my long run tomorrow, I'll be in the mid 60s.

Kathie, I do my long runs whenever I can. My family and I stayed at Sundance and skied this weekend so I ran on Friday morning. The weather for my run was awful.....
