I was glad snow melted, race was from Jewish Center on University of Utah and along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. This was hardest 5k Ive run because of big hill climb and it was on trail. Because of that it was not a fast race. I won my age group and was 3rd overall including adults. I almost got 2nd place. I won a thermos, water bottle, new watch, and box of nutrition bars so I was happy. My dad said I ran hard and had a good start and finish.

I ran very good today because I ate well and went to bed early. I used more positive thinking when running. I broke my PR by 9 seconds. Only Ely and older kids beat me and I beat some other kids that I havent before. Weather was good

Woke up for the race. When I was running I got a big cramp for almost the whole race. I did not have good form. I think I drank water too for the race so I still had quite a bit of water still in my stomach. Will try to drink less before race next time. I still did Ok getting 2nd in my age group. I also won my 3rd trophy in a row for the Provo running series which is exciting. In this race I am saying 20th place because that includes the open high school runners. Without the high school runners I would be in top 10.
