Ran this one bandit but I still had the weirdest pre-race dreams ever.  I must have known deep down that I would see what I had in me.  Started out w/ a mile warm up w/ Luz then  Jos, Luz,RAD and I took our places.  By the first aide station Josse used her veteran water stop skills and pulled away from me and I started to feel like I wasn't quite in the race mentality state but I kept her in my sight the whole race.  Her pink shirt right up ahead of me kept my legs moving.  I thought a couple times I could catch her if I just picked it up a bit but then I would get scared thinking it would get to me so I stayed as steady as I could.  The last couple miles I battled my head a little but I'm glad I kept it up and managed what I did.  I matched my fasted half, which was Hobble Creek back in the day, so that makes me happy.

Nice race. I really like the Ogden Half. The canyon is groovy on the half. Interesting I really didnt have that feel on the full. Just wanted it to be over.

Burt- I know, I talked to him about it and he forgave me for my banditness, thank goodness.. I didn't cross the finish line like the 1st guy so he said it was a forgivable offense.

Jos- Thanks sis, I'll trust myself more on the next one.

Thanks gdoc. I've heard that from several people about the full vs. the half... it's a killer to take on, kudos to all who dare.

Great to read your race report (finally). We saw each other after the race, and you were with Josse, so I just assumed you'd kept up with her. Great splits! You ran a strong race and battled your mind to the end. You're just getting better and stronger all the time. I loved this day adn this race. I aws so happy to spend part of it running with you guys. Thanks for posting a few pictures. I have to talk to you about Sat, so I'm going to PM you now.
