Its been a while since I updated this, but my short-term running goals are simple: to keep running.

Long term...mmm...hard one, just continue running and having the luck a running races to keep on the edge, every so often.

Just a thought: It might be worth while to use tomorrow's run as a "test run" for the foot (i.e. only go 7 or 10k tomorrow to test the foot out) and see how it feels the morning after.

Glad the foot is better! Hope it stays well! 15K sounds cool as long as you keep the pace easy and your foot/ankle are still okay.

I agree. If tomorrow's "test run" goes well, then press on with training as usual. The 15k with friends would be a great way to get back into the rhythm.

And I'm jealous of the altitude training...

I'm jealous of the altitude too, there is no such thing as altitude in Kansas..I'm afraid at altitude my poor 1000 foot above sea-level spoiled body would just gasp for air.

1000 feet sounds good to me. My transition-to-the-coastal-plains part of Alabama is only a few hundred feet above sea level. My altitude aptitude is so low that if I jump too high, I get altitude sickness...

Glad to hear the foot is feeling better.

I am starting to think running is far too dangerous.
