yikes, sounds horrible Eric. Please take care of yourself. Sometimes taking some time off running (rather than running while sick) actually reduces the overall amount of time you have to "not run". Especially when the cold/virus/etc. is in your lungs. You are still a runner even when you aren't running!

That's awful Eric, do take care, sounds like you have some kind of chest infection or something. Hope you get better soon.

Ditto what Bonnie says, time off now could pay off later if you are back healthy soon

I've run a half marathon slower than that. Hope you feel better soon.

I pray for your speedy recovery!

Thanks all.

Its great to have some support from great people like you.

I'm itching to run, but learnt my lesson: let the body heal first. Feel somewhat better, but still, will wait till monday and then decide if I can re-start running or wait longer.

So sorry to hear about your breathing problems! You have been out for quite some time struggling with this cold/virus. The pain is concerning--I hope you see a physician soon for an in depth evaluation.
