Long term...mmm...hard one, just continue running and having the luck a running races to keep on the edge, every so often.

Burning lungs? Doesn't sound like you should be running.

I've heard the rule of thumb for running while sick was the neck rule.

If it's above your neck, then it's okay.

If it's below your neck, then rest. Lungs are definitely below your neck, unless you're running on your hands.

I'm with Mike on this one. Seriously!!! A few years ago I ran when my lungs were burning and my asthma has been worse ever since. PLEASE be careful.

Mike, felt like I was running on my knees. Lungs ok, just sore because of the hard cough I got. Much better now.

Teena, thanks, will be careful, thats why I ran very few kms last week. Just taking it easy but trying not to loose fitness.
