Entendido, amigo. Have a great day!

Hmmm, no habla espanol. I hope all these little aches and pains start tapering off--knee to ankle seems to be my problem too! I hope you find some shoes that make a difference. I have started putting these inserts inside my shoes that are soft and made of gel and just go in the heel area--they seem to really soften the blow of impact and make my feet and ankles feel immensely better.

I have those inserts too. I used them when my achilles tendon was very sore. Maybe I should try them a while more, no? Doesn't hurt to use them.

Hey Eric. Sorry to hear that you are having some issues. Hopefully it's nothing serious. You seem to have built your milage up rather quickly over the past few weeks. Have you been using the 10% rule? If you find yourself overtraining with milage it usualy will show up with issues in the lower legs. Here's an interesting article about the problems that Lance Armstrong developed during his first marathon experience. http://mysite.verizon.net/jim2wr/id192.html

This is a pretty good site that helps me from time to time with running related questions. I hope you find it enlightening also. Be safe out there. Paul

Eric; I sent you a private message. Did you ever get it? Maybe it went to junk mail?
