Following the same taper my friend is doing this week for the 10k race this Saturday(tomorrow). I feel like I have hardly ran this week but am hoping it will help me feel fresh! This will be my 2nd 10k and I am quite nervous but excited to see how I do. I have definitely put in better speed workouts than I have in the past along with more significant easy runs. I wish that I would have got in a few longer runs but overall I feel good about the my training the past few weeks. If nothing else this will give me an idea as to where I am at and then I can build from there to hopefully reach my goal in July. |
