I had a sore throat and headache Sunday and yesterday, so I was trying to recover.  I still have a sore throat this morning, but no other symptoms, so maybe I'm just dehydrated.  It didn't seem to affect my running.

I warmed up 2 miles and then ran 10 x 2 min. on/off.  Then, I cooled down until I hit 9 miles.  Total time was 62:38 for nine miles.   My first sub- 7 minute/mile run.  It was hard; especially the last 3 repeats.

I am down 6 pounds since I started running.  Still about 10 to go, but it's nice to see the scale numbers go down instead of up!

I felt sluggish this morning, and my hips were sore.  I don't know if that is from the workout yesterday, or the Zumba class.  I also felt really cold the whole run.  Definitely not my favorite run of the week.

I ran out 1300 W to the river trail at 7000 S.  Back to Millrace Park and up through the neighborhood.  I had planned to do some strides at the Taylorsville High track.  But, when I got there and found I had to run around to the opposite side of the track to get in, I got lazy and ran home.  Maybe tomorrow.

I met Jenny at Murray Park for our Thursday run.  I felt sassy in my new Target running tights.  There's nothing like new running gear to get you excited for a run.  We ran 8 miles through the neighborhoods.  As soon as it gets a little lighter, we plan to run out to Wheeler Farm.

We let loose our inner 12-year-old boy by discussing bodily functions for the majority of the run.  Who knew poop could be so fascinating?  (Sorry if that is way too much information!)
