Today was one of those days when "just get out the door" turns into a longer run than you had originally planned.
I ran 1300 W to 7000 South, and then down to the river trail. About three miles in, my blood sugar was already dropping, so I took a gu. This route is 7.5 miles. About the time I was about to leave the river trail, I ran into some of the East kids and Bill doing their run. I can never resist having running partners, so I ran a 2 mile loop with them before I left the trail. By the end of the run, I was really hungry. But, it was nice getting a little longer run, and having some running company on a beautiful morning. |
