Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Ran 10.2 miles on the TM in 81:57 (8:02/mile).  Once again, it was slow warming up. Ran the first 3.2 miles in 26:18.  Then a softer TM became available, so I moved to it and ran 7 miles in 55:39.  Finished with a 0.3 mile walking cool-down.

AM:  Ran 8 miles on the TM in 65 minutes.  Started slow (8:49/mile pace) for first half-mile, and ran the last mile in 7:13 (including 0.3 miles at a 6:49 pace).

PM:  Ran 6 miles at Scott Field in the evening with the Bill Torrey running group on a hot (for Spring) 79 degree evening.  Ran a 1 mile warm-up, then the Ladder (in meters: 400, 800,1200, 1200, 800, and 400) and an 800 m with Steve Preston who showed up late.  Average pace for these repeats was 6:38/mile, with 200m recoveries.  Then finished with a 3/4 mile cool-down.  Overall average pace including warm-up and cool-down was 7:24/mile.

Ran a 0.7 mile warm-up at a 7:55/mile pace.  Then met Wesley and ran from the Two Rivers Bridge to the Pinnacle East Visitor's Center and back.  Still having to figure out long distance running nutrition.  I've created a Boston Marathon nutrition plan, and will practice it during a 14 mile run on Sunday.
