Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Ran 12 miles in 94:21 (7:52/mile) on a beautiful morning along the north shore of the Arkansas River.  Ran the first 6 miles as a recovery run from yesterday in 48:05 (8:01/mile), but felt great and ran the second 6 miles on 46:16 (7:43/mile), including miles 9, 10 and 11 each around 7:30/mile.  The last mile over the Broadway Bridge was at 8:10, so miles 7 - 11 were at 38:10 (7:38/mile).  After running over 48 miles in 4 days, I'm ready to take a day off from running.

Let me get this straight. You followed up a strong 16 miler with an even faster 12 miler? I love it!

Yes, its not so much strong running as it is much better weather than we've had during the summer, and faster shoes today (Kinvara 3) than yesterday (Cortana). My adductors seem pretty good, so I want to increase the distance of my long runs.
