Meant to go 3 miles today around the track but unfortunately my Achilles started feeling rather tight so I cut it short.  Bought some new New Balance 890's yesterday.  They are quite light and feel really good on my feet.  I plan to wear them on Saturday.  Hopefully they will work okay.

Lame foot. :(

You should be fine in those shoes. It's more of a mental thing. And then the part when your feet start cramping at mile 15... jk. you should be ok.

If they don't feel good just leave them at a clothing drop and run the rest bare foot :)

Sorry about that stupid Achilles! Have you tried a massage on it yet? A good deep tissue one? I wouldn't do it any later than tomorrow, but it might help! Also, having it KT taped for the race will alleviate some of the pain during the run. Just some suggestions. I have some pink KT tape if you'd like to borrow some :)

Haha thanks for the support BB! Like I said... If I don't hit my goal time, it's okay. I am running this one to finish it. Sub 3 would be good but crap can happen.

RAD... I might actually use some K tape. That wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't know about pink though. Might take away from my new black shoes ;)
