I have not been motivated at all lately.  I was going to run on Saturday but my son had his 7th birthday party.  My wife didn't want me to go before which was fine, I'd just go after.  Well, it rained all afternoon.  I looked outside and I didn't feel like going.  I should have got up early yesterday to do P90X but slept in instead.  Well, today I actually got up and did plyometrics.  It kicked my ___ but felt good.  It's time to find some motivation.

sometimes the motivation goes when the body needs a break. it will come back when you are ready for it. i say enjoy a break for a bit. you worked hard all summer!

good job with the plyometrics.

Thanks allie. I just can't keep my usual pattern of a few weeks in the winter turning into several months. Then I have to start all over.

Don't fall back into your old ways Chad. Get it done! Don't listen to allie. No break for you!

Hey Burt, allie just won TOU. She has got some serious credibility going for her.

I hear it was a fluke. Her words.

The motivation bug is going around (it STEALS it all!) I hope you are still getting that p90X in. My hubby is working hard (and I force him sometimes to just get it done), but is starting his 4th consistent week. I'm about ready to punch Tony sometimes in Kempo...but so far so good.

Rachael, you're doing better than me. I'm tired of p90x. I almost got up this morning to run even if at the Legacy Center on the treadmill but I didn't. I think I'll be able to start motivating myself to run a couple of times a week, basketball once or twice, and a combination of plyo, abripper, treadmill speedwork, etc. But I dread getting up for p90x. I miss running and I just don't have time to do both.
