Needed at least another day off so I biked up to Croton Reservoir and back, about 26 miles.  Rode most of it with my mountain bike in its biggest gear.

Nice job on the PR over the weekend. I wouldn't want to race you right now. I hope the achilles is feeling better soon. I'd give you advice, but I haven't figured it out for myself yet, so I'll abstain. Just remember: if a few days off/x-training can take care of it, you'll be way better off in the long run than if you try to push through it.
