Starting tomorrow I will begin training for the St Louis Marathon. I've had 18 days off after concluding my Thanksgiving Weekend Race. I felt that the 4 races I ran last season were successful, but that a better training plan will help me improve times. I'm setting qualifying for the Boston Marathon as my goal for St Louis in April. This may be biting off more than I can chew as this is my first ever Marathon, but I ran a 1:30:35 for my first ever 1/2 Marathon in November, so I feel this is a reachable goal. I've spent the last 3 weeks doing cross training and weights in the gym. |
