LM warmup (10 reps), 7.06 miles in 55:40, 7:53/mi, HR 161, w/ 2 mile warmup, 2 x Drills, 6 x Strides, 10 x 1 min on/1 min off, 2.5+ mile cooldown, PU/SU/Leg ladder (5/5/5) & stretching. Sunny and hot (81F). Back, hips, and upper-body stiff and sore from a yardwork session that went badly yesterday. Glad to be on a cut-back week with that and the heat. All 10 repeats were either uphill or flats. Jogged between first six reps but the heat took its toll and I was walking much of the last 4 rest sections. The weather is survivable in the shade, but step into the sun.... |
