Will todays run had alot of different elements incorporated to make it interesting. When I started the temp was at 100 degrees, there was a strong wind coming out of the canyon which gave me a strong head wind for half and a tail wind for the last half. The last 1.2 miles it started pooring rain, big rain drops that stung when they hit you. the weird thing was the sun was still shineing, so kind of a different run. I think being in the higher altitude kind of took the wind out my sails a little bit, so the run kind of kicked my butt today. Total time was 1:19:46, with an average pace of 9:42, I think my ankle is pretty much at a hundred percent so I think we are doing will in that area.

Mile 1. 9:56

I thought that I would try and do some speed work today, now that my ankle is feeling 100%. Yesterday I felt pretty wack all through my run. I don't know if I'm drinking to much water and washing out to many electrolites. This morn I woke up and had a real bad cramp in my left calf muscel, it hurt bad. So today I drank some sports drink 20 oz about an hour before my run, and then another 20 oz during my workout. so we will try and see if that helps. My total time time today was 1:16:34, with an average pace of 9:19.

Mile 1. 9:30

        2. 8.00

        3. 9:49

        5. 9:32

        6. 9:34

        7. 8:50

I did do an 800m pick up during mile 7 to se if I had anything left I could'nt hold it to an 8 min mile.

It was nice to be able and get out early and do a long run. It was a beautiful morning, nice and cool but a little on the hummid side. It did rain a little bit off and on, not to bad just enough to cool you down. There was alot of Lighting in the North end of the valley, some on the south and west. It made for a great show at 5 am in the morn. It felt pretty good through most of the workout today, got a little tired towards the end but we managed to pull through. I turned my Garmin off at mile 6 which is the top of Harry's Hill, there was a lot of lighting and I did'nt want to give any chance to becoming a conductor for it. So I dont have any mile splits from mile 7 and on. It did take a little over three hrs by my cell phone clock.

Mile 1. 10:07

        2. 9:36

        3. 9:45

        4. 9:52

        5. 9:55

        6. 11:05 Harry's Hill
