If anyone really gives a hoot I have been laying low for a while and trying to get my hamstring to heal up. The first week of Oct. I took off and did no exercising or running at all. The last 2 weeks I have been hitting the Nordic Track 5-6 days a week, with upper body weight training. My hamstring was feeling good the past week. My goal today was to do a 2 mile run at a very easy pace, by the time I went a block the old hamstring started hurting again. Needlesss to say I am desappionted that this just dos'nt want to let go and get better. I am thinking of a cortazone shot maybe that will help. I did 10 min. on he eliptical after my 2 miler which took 22 min. and some change. I also did 20 min. of upper body weight training. Tomorrow I will go back to the eliptical. Oh well. |
