All day today my attitude towards running was not very good. I'm tired of the hamstring injury, and now my back is startimg to bother me. so my first mile was not the fun I was hoping for. Mile 2 I was sick of my attitude and told myself to stop feeling sorry for myself and kcik it in the butt. From that piont on I had a one of my better runs than I have had for a while. That's why I like running so much because it is alot like life, so many times we are to easy at blamming other's for our struggles and challenges. When the real problem is our attitude. We are the ones that can choose to make our day great or sour. I loved my run today and it was awesome to be able to injoy this wonderful fall weather. My total time for the 5 miles was 50:12.

Mile 1. 10:01

        2. 9:41

        3. 10:02

        4. 10:36

        5. 8:59

I feel like I finished strong today. I just have to change my attitude. Awesome!!!!!!

Way to kick it into gear "Gramps"! (I see you've changed your blog name. I'll bet it's fun being gramps. I hope your granddaughter's health problems are doing well!

Keep up the great attitude, it's catchy!

Thanks for your kind remarks Kim. Emma is doing ok for now. She has some water developing on her lungs. Hopefully the meds they are giving her will help that drain off.

Attiitude is 99% of success, the rest is just good old hard work.
