The storm started yesterday as freezing rain around noon.  I took this picture from our apartment about eleven this morning.  The snowflakes finally stopped this afternoon around 3:30.  The lumps behind the bike rack are the cars in the parking lot.  The snow covered tarps are our bikes.  Poor bikes.

I went running at two.  There weren't many cars out.  Except for about a quarter of a mile, I was able to run in the road.  But that quarter of a mile was brutal.  I was doing high-knees the whole time through a foot of snow.  What a work out!  Definitely, a fun adventure.

Great picture! Being from the desert, I never get sick of seeing snow! Thanks for sharing.

Boy am I sick of seeing snow but that truly is a great picture and has made me grateful for the bits of pavement I ran on these past two days.

Sounds like it's homemade root beer floats next time I see you in my little kitchen.

Got any fun plans for Valentine's...the ward is having a dance..I'm so excited. I want to teach my kids a few steps before then..we are going to watch an instructional dance video together and see what happnes. :)
