Afternoon... First easy run back after SGM.  [E] 5.4 mile run (38:38, 7:09 pace).  West Btfl Lake out/back.  Didn't worry about pace, just wanted to get out the door and start running again.  The muscle soreness didn't start coming on until about 14 minutes into the run, but wasn't overly terrible.  My calves were again the most sore area by far.

This week begins the super-technical phase of my training known as "brainless running."  If I feel like running long, short, easy, hard, or not at all, that is what is on the schedule for the day.  The most important thing is to re-charge the batteries, both mentally and physically.  Also time to figure out what target races will loom for the spring!

How is your training going?

Chris I kind of feel like I'm in the same mode. I've been struggling with a hip injury and haven't done much training since St. George. I've had the urge to get out, but I'm kind of trying to get over this injury and recharge the batteries.
