Personal:

I know Sasha from the CS program at BYU. We both graduated in 1997. He probably doesn't remember me, because he was definitely more vocal in class and among the students than I was.

Married to Teresa with 3 kids: Anders (4), Kristian (9), and Zoe (12).

Fluent in Danish, but there is obviously very little need for that.

Well, it's almost April and it snowed a couple inches last night. That's hopefully the last snow we'll see until November. I went down to the paved trail to take advantage of the new snow padding. The first couple miles were nice, but then some idiot decided to take his 4-wheeler on the trail and plow it. So I spend the last several miles dodging thin layers of slush/ice. I'm sure it will all be clear by tomorrow, but that won't do me any good 'cause I've got a flight today and I'm back east all week.

It's crazy how fatigued my legs felt yesterday on my day off. I still didn't feel that great this morning, but I felt much better after running a mile, stretching, and running another 3 miles. By mile 4, I was actually feeling normal again. Relief.

This was an honest effort, but I didn't get much sleep the night before 'cause I got into New Jersey late.

About the same effort as yesterday with some upper-body workout. I also ran a mile on the treadmill barefoot.

I was in NYC late last night. I need to stop doing that. I didn't have time to run in the morning, but got in some miles after work.

Very wet day. I got in about six miles, but that's all that I could manage with the time.

Flew back in last night. We all met up at Emigration Canyon in the morning at 6am. Early. We went up over the hill and noticed that the 10 mile race was starting. Stevie was the only person I knew running it. She looked strong as she ran by- I'll have to check to see if she won it. We went up towards East Canyon as far as we could, but the road was still closed for winter and we only made it a half mile beyond the gate. Then we came back and ran down to the bridge by the gold course (near I-80) and back. A little over 20 miles.
