Wasn't sure if Randy was going to show up because it was cold and snowy this morning. He did show and we put in a pretty good run. It's tougher running in the snow because you have to pay attention to every step. We had to stop at a traffic light at McMillian and Cloverdale. I was really cold after that.

Didn't wear the Garmin this morning. Battery was dead. I need to figure out what causes that.

Oh, man. It was cold this morning. The thermometer read zero, but because I'm an idiot, I went out anyway. Two shirts, a running jacket and a hoodie kept my top warm enough. My legs were cold and the two pair of gloves weren't enough for my hands. I ran really slow because I was cold and the roads were really slick.

Still cold. One web site said it was 1, another said it was -3. I wasn't sure Randy was going to show, but there he was. We did decide to cut it short though. We went out of the subdivision and then along Ustick and back home on Cloverdale. About 2 miles. Then I thought it would be a good idea to do another lap on my own. It wasn't a good idea. My hands, and legs, and feet got really, really cold. Maybe it will be warmer tomorrow.

I dressed warmer today. My arms actually got hot. But my face was still really cold and I kept my hands balled up in the inside of my gloves to keep them warm. I probably looked funny with my fingers flapping.

I got an email from Randy this morning. Looks like I'm on my own tomorrow. That's because Randy is smarter than I am.

It warmed up to 18 this morning. Downright balmy. Tough to keep the pace up with the new fallen snow. Every step slips a bit. Looks like it's supposed to keep snowing all next week.
