I ran through some farmland this morning. The sky was blue and the air was crisp. It would have been a perfect run if I hadn't gotten so little sleep last night and I hadn't lost my sunglasses and that big dog didn't chase after me. But other than that, it was great.

Got chased by a couple of dogs last Saturday when I ran out toward Kuna. Seems like there are always dogs roaming free out there. Thinking of carrying a small pepper spray if I run out there again. My only concern is that farmers/ranchers get attached to their dogs and might pull out a gun if I spray their "best friend."

I bought some pepper spray when I was running a lot in Colorado Springs a couple of years ago. I've never used it though. I doubt it would ever prevent a dog from biting me. More likely a tool for revenge.
