Grrrrrr. This was supposed to be an easy run today -- a snack as my neighbor calls it. But no. It snowed the whole time. Those big flakes that get in your eyes. And for some reason, I decided to pick up the pace. I think I was bugged because I was hoping to come in under 8 minute pace yesterday and was at 8:00 exactly. Or, maybe I was just cold and wanted to finish as quickly as possible.

I picked up some funky new socks at the Nike store yesterday. The kind that are really low and have a left and right foot. They were pretty comfy, and only 4 bucks. I guess I'll have to buy up a few more.

You're braver than I. I looked out my office window at lunch and decided that I didn't want to get soaked. I was going to hit Aldape Summit tomorrow morning but I think it might be snowed in now. U still planning on trying to pick up a number for Robie?

Still hoping to. If it's anything like last year, there should be numbers aplenty at the packet pickup. I'm also hoping to go up the course tomorrow morning. Could be kind of sloppy up there though.

Cool, that's what I hear. I'm sure there will be plenty of traffic up there tomorrow w/ only 2 wks left. Maybe I'll see you on your way down? I think I'll start at the first cattle guard at the bottom of Shaw Mtn Rd. I'll be wearing red shoes and carrying a piano on my back. ;)

PS- Those Nike socks are way comfy.
