AM: 4 and then some strides.
PM: 1.5 warm up and strides. Workout 5x1000 at 2 mile pace with 3:30 rest. We hit 2:53,2:55,2:55,2:56,2:54. When its been 2 mile pace, I've tried to go 9 flat but a thousand is really long so I was ok with being a few seconds slower. Effort was good. Cooldown to 7.5 for the afternoon.
