2x3miles at BQ pace or faster was the plan. I also did this workout with no breakfast to try and simulate running when hungry (which has always happened to me in the marathon no matter how I have fueled) 1st set went well, maybe a little too well, ran 19:00 so 6:20 pace, this would have been great if I did full recovery but I wanted to get back to the wife as soon as possible so I took quick drink shook it out a little and started again. The next set stunk! It was cold and windy today and that just put me in a bad attitude as well. Oh well got the 3 in even though it took 21minutes this time it was still at planned pace. |
