Finally able to run! The first mile was slow, oh so slow, as my legs got used to the movements and worked through the soreness. By mile 4, I'd cut 2 minutes off my pace and felt good. Horray!!

Horray is right! Glad you are finally able to break those hard working muscles loose. Time to start sweating at Zumba again :)

QP, mexican mountian girl, way to get back at it, loosen up those legs. Just a thought, you are essentially in marathon shape, are you going to run one this year?

Brent- I'd love to get a marathon in. A spring marathon would be great before it starts getting too hot for long runs. I'm just not interested in shelling out big $ for the marathons that are so well advertised, and it's hard to find out about the ones that aren't.
Maybe the Lucky March Leprechaun will bring me some sunshine and a marathon. If I could only catch the little bugger first. I guess this is why speed work is so important..(so we can catch leprechauns)!
