Dace and I met down by the river trail, and did the normal 10 mile loop. We cut it a little short, but my leg was feeling so good that I decided to go 15 miles. I ran under the bridge to the end of that trail, and a little beyond that on Riverside Dr. The calf felt great. My right ITB was a little tight the last few miles, but shouldn't be a big deal. Now I can take the next couple days off to give the leg a rest, and ride the bike in the meantime. Hopefully I can keep it healthy. I will start the taper after Sat. so the lower miles should help keep it loose. I just hope I didn't lose too much pace during the last 2 wks. when the miles were so low(while I recovered).
