Due to a variety of factors (an 8am meeting being chief among them) I got out the door for a run at about 6:15.  I did an out and back to the gate at TITP. I did several fartlek-style surges ranging from .25 to a mile.  It felt really good to move the legs relatively quickly and the knee has been pretty cooperative as I've picked up the miles a bit.

Any idea what your race plans are for the next year?

Jon--sorry for the late reply. I don't know what my race plans are for next year. I just want to get healthy and be able to run 50-60 mpw week consistently. If I can do that, then I can think about racing. But I don't know about PR efforts, we'll have to see. Still thinking about the triathlon a little bit.
