Went from church to school and after a few hours brushing up on the classes of the week, hit the rec center for a little distraction. An even 5,000 yards at the pool, making the most of my rest from running. Main set was a double peaked pyramid up to 300 yards (ie 25,50, 75, etc. up to 2x300), with 10 seconds rest for everything 200 yds and shorter, and 15 seconds rest for everything longer. Surprised myself with how good I felt, though the last 250 yards total I felt like I was swimming in place. Felt awesome, re-energized me for round two of studying. About to do an ab circuit, and then time to hammer down and get 3 contracts assignments out of the way... it's a new year and it's going to be great in all ways! |
