I'm a former rower, looking at getting into some other form of competition after "retirement" from my pastime of the previous four years. I'm dedicated, but a little held back by my formerly 215lb 6'7" frame.

Recovery, from the apartment to Green Lake, around the outer ring, and back. Clearly have to start working on my form to eliminate heel striking, but its going well. Went about an 8:15 split,  heart rate was at ~135 or less the whole time, which was nice to see.

Welcome to the blog. Congratulations on finishing your first law school test and congratulations on being the tallest blogger.

Thanks for the kind words! Can't wait for finals to be over... every run I've had the last three weeks has been exhausting beyond what I should, as I haven't been able to sleep. Looking forward to venting next Friday (end of finals) with a really long run.

Speaking of kind words, I was going to say something about the Cardinals whooping up on the Vikings this week, but I'm not sure if the viking in your name refers to that or not. And I'm not that much of a punk. LOL. BTW, I think there are a couple of other bloggers from Seattle here. Do you know any of them? Just go to Find Blogs and enter Seattle in the city box or WA in the state box.

Welcome to the blog. You live in an amazing place. I've spent many a moon up there. Mostly in the San Juan Islands.

From cdViking on Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 15:13:44 from 66.194.72.10

Nah, the viking refers to my undergrad alma mater (Western Washington University Vikings). I'm a Seahawk guy, so the Cardinals victory still hurt.

And the San Juans are amazing.

YOU ARE TALL!!!! Burt, how do you know he is the tallest???

Welcome to the blog, best of luck with those finals and all of your running goals. The Newport marathon sounds like a very good one, I am already looking forward to hearing all about it.

Well, you always KNOW these things that I do not, so I figured there had to be a method or somethin'! I guess it is just pure genius at work.

I just realized that is an entire foot taller than my husband, that is TALL.

Okay, Kelli, I lied. Here's a taller blogger : http://loschi.fastrunningblog.com/
