Did a short run today, 3.5k. My legs were getting a little tired, but I didn't feel like I got much of a cardio workout. I was tempted to run further, but decided to stick with the Hal Higdon training plan and only do the 3.5k run. Afterwards, I walked another 3.5k and then biked 10k. In the end, I felt like I got a lot of exercise, but never got the cardio workout I was wanting. I hope trusting Hal on this one pays off in the long run! |
