Got a massage late last night and didn't feel better right away but feel much better today. I can actually walk down stairs again. Not sure if it was from the massage or just having another 24 hours to recover, but happy anyway. Struggled through 2 miles doing 10 minute mile. Ouch. My quads are killing me and I am wondering how I ever run faster miles. But, in good news, this is by far the soonest I have ever tried to start running again. Usually I take at least 1 if not 2 full weeks off, and sometimes several months of cross training so I was proud of myself for that. |
