Started out at a good pace today, and felt like I would be able to keep it up for the duration of my run. My ankle felt good as I stayed off of it for the majority of thanksgiving vacation, but almost on cue it started to hurt at the conclusion of the third mile. Great. It was as I was running downhill, and I think that hills inflame it. I walked for a bit, and then forced myself to jog back. Called my parents and they said to stop running on it for at least a week, if not two. If it isn't better by the time I go back home for Christmas, they'll take me to a physical therapist or other doctor. |
