Today is a wonderful day to run. It's a great temperature and it's raining. But I am injured. Again. I did a light jog to my jogging class to see how my ankle was feeling, and it wasn't too bad. I warmed up for 3 laps around the track and the pain escalated just a little. I thought the soft track was helping to make it ok. Then we did 2x200. My ankle screamed at the end of the second one and I was done. Even let someone beat me. I went out 3 miles on Saturday night from my house (I was in Saint George.) and then it flared up really bad again. I had to jog/limp/walk back to my house. Horrible run. I am seriously considering dropping running for this week. It is absolutely disappointing to finally feel like I can run again, start increasing the miles, and then get another injury. I had a goal of reaching 50 miles per week by December and that goal just got thrown out the door. Yay.
