Eight-ish today. I found out that my all of my roommate's brothers are runners, so I made him come out with me for half an hour. I let him set the pace, and we went at about 10 min/mile. I had to speed up at the end to make it to class on time, and then set my own pace for the next 5 miles or so. I averaged about 7:30 pace, and felt pretty good for the majority of my run. The hill going t up 9th East kills me everytime though. Worked out lower body in my weight training class afterwards. Not fun to lift directly following running. My FHE family played capture the flag tonight. It was tons of fun, and I got some sprinting work in. Ha ha, I never get picked first in games, but I did after everybody saw me running/sprinting around. That made me feel good. We won the first game, but lost the second. Threw on half a mile of easy and half a mile of VO2 max. |
