Nice and easy 4.5 miles up and around the Temple.

My right ankle started hurting pretty badly about a quarter mile from my dorm on the way back.  The pain kept increasing and I had to walk a little way home. I'm thinking it's because of my old shoes, so those won't be used again for a while.  I'm icing and wearing a bandage today, I'm not taking any risks.

Avg pace for 2 mile splits -

8:18 min/mile (uphill)

7:52 min/mile (downhill)

I ran around the temple this moring as well. Don't know if yours was as early as mine. Is this pain new?

I was there about six. Probably not as early as you. :)

And yeah. This pain is brand new. I have no problem walking or anything, it was just at the end of my run. I'm going to test it for a bit tonight and see what's up.

I was there at the same time! Pains the week of a marathon are usually our body playing tricks on us. We call them phantom pains. Continue iceing and massage it alitte, but you should be fine. I would just take the rest of the day off and maybe even tomorrow (your work is already done) rest is going to do you more good than running. Run a couple of miles on thurs. to see how it is doing and if it still hurts just ice and massage some more and show up on race day ready to race and most likely you won't even feel it.
